ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS

Anti-wrinkle injections are one of the most effective treatment methods to both improve and prevent fine lines and wrinkles on the face. Over time the repeated movement of our muscles such as the frown or forehead muscles start to cause creases in the skin. These lines then worsen over time and can start to be an ageing feature of the face (for example the '11' lines and crows feet that start to gradually get deeper as we age). These injections help to relax these muscles meaning they can no longer form the creases in the skin, this helps the wrinkles improve over time.

DERMAL FILLERS

Fillers are made up of a specially formulated type of hyaluronic acid that sits naturally in your skin. It is a biodegradable, natural gel that is easily injected into your skin. Once injected it instantly fills out volume loss or troublesome lines, leaving a smooth and natural look to the face. The results are instant, so you will notice the results straight away. Filler can be used in many different ways to help with an array of concerns.

SKIN BOOSTERS

Skin boosters are an excellent injectable treatment to hydrate the skin and give a beautiful rejuvenated look.  It acts as an internal moisturiser or skin booster to improve skin quality, texture, and appearance. It is perfect for treating dull, tired-looking skin; fine line and wrinkles; and areas of skin damage, for example from acne or sun damage. Boosters stimulate new natural collagen production and can be used on the face, under eye area, neck, decolletage, and hands.

A minimum of 2 SESSIONS is required 4-6 WEEKS apart.

CHEMICAL PEELS

Chemical peels involve the application of a specially formulated chemical solution to the skin, which gently exfoliates and removes the outermost layers. This controlled resurfacing process reveals fresher, more youthful-looking skin underneath. Chemical peels are effective in improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne, scarring, pigmentation, and uneven skin tone.

They also help to regulate excess sebum production, unclog blocked pores, and promote a clearer, smoother complexion—making them especially beneficial for acne-prone or congested skin.

For optimal results, a course of 3 chemical peels is recommended, spaced 10 days apart, to gradually improve skin texture, clarity, and radiance.

FILLER DISSOLVE

Hyaluronidase is injected to permanently dissolve hyaluronic acid fillers by breaking the cross-linking (bonds) between the filler hyaluronic acid chains, leading to permanent removal.

I will assess during consultation whether this treatment is clinically safe for you to have based on factors such as migration, how much filler you have, desired outcome, previous filler/injector used, and the condition of your lips.

POLYNUCLEOTIDE REJUVENATION

An anti-wrinkle injection is used to reduce the appearance of a gummy smile by targeting specific muscles responsible for elevating the upper lip. The treatment involves injecting a small amount of botulinum toxin into the upper lip.

This works by blocking the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that signals muscle contraction. By temporarily inhibiting these muscles’ activity, the upper lip’s elevation during smiling is reduced, preventing excessive gum exposure.

This minimally invasive procedure is quick, typically takes only a few minutes, and requires no downtime. The effect usually lasts between 3 to 4 months, after which the muscle action gradually returns.
